Sujit Das is a dedicated and accomplished musician with a profound professional background in Tabla (Indian classical instrument) performance art. Trilingual, with fluency in English, Hindi and Bengali. International teaching experience with multinational audience of students. He has experience of number of performances abroad at the solo and joint concerts of Indian classical music. Achieved a noted position among the present day Tabla players of India. Started initial training at the age of seven under Professor Sri Dilip Bose, the later has taken him for advance lessons to the Padma Bhusan Pandit Gyan Prakash Ghosh. Later continued his study under the guidance of Pandit Suresh Talwalkar and Pandit Kumar Bose. From the early childhood and until today is an artist, specialized in the innovative mythological art. One of the most remarkable works is the painting of the well-known Lying Bal Shiva. The initial steps in painting were under the guidance of father, a renowned Indian artist Kartick Chandra Das (an owner of Persey Brown, Gold Medal, 1956 and 1957 from Academy of Fine Arts by Sree Atul Bose, watercolor). During the deputation (ICCR) in Tajikistan the famous painting of Sujit Das “Buddha in Nirvana” (in Dushanbe, Tajikistan) was presented to the President of India Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, on behalf of the Embassy of India in Tajikistan. Member of the World Yoga Society in Kolkata and a certified Yoga instructor of 400 students in Tajikistan during the deputation in the Indian Embassy in Tajikistan (2008-2011).
